3. Hosting and server logs
The website uses IONOS Webhosting Pro. The order processing agreement with IONOS was concluded on January 17, 2023, based on the information provided in the contract. When a website is accessed, connection data required for technical purposes is processed, including IP address, requested resource, timestamp, and technical browser information, insofar as the service records this. This serves to ensure the secure provision of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Information regarding the processing and storage duration of server logs depends on the specific IONOS hosting plan used. The specific data center location is not guaranteed here.

4. CookieYes and consent management
We use CookieYes to manage consent to cookies and similar technologies. The choice is stored using a technically required cookie called cookieyes-consent. For consent-requiring technologies, prior consent is generally required (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR in conjunction with § 25 TDDDG, as applicable). Consent can be adjusted or revoked at any time through the cookie settings. Further information about the cookies used and the options available can be found in the cookie settings window.

5. Merchant inquiry
Upon a merchant request, we process the company, contact person, business email address, country and business area, as well as, optionally, the website address and message. The purpose is to review, process and answer the request regarding a possible business relationship. The request is forwarded by email to Aqualogistik GmbH. The legal bases are Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (processing of business requests) and, if applicable, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures with affected natural persons). If no business relationship is established, such requests are deleted in accordance with Aqualogistik’s usual practice no later than six months after the request, unless there is a statutory retention obligation or other overriding necessity. The request does not automatically lead to merchant approval.

6. Spam protection with Cloudflare Turnstile
To protect the merchant application form from abuse, we use Cloudflare Turnstile. During loading and verification, a connection is established with challenges.cloudflare.com. Cloudflare can process technical connection, device, browser, and interaction information for this purpose based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare provides a Data Processing Addendum (DPA) (Version 6.4, effective as of April 3, 2026), which, according to the conditions accessible in the Cloudflare account, is incorporated into the self-service subscription agreement. The contract includes, among other things, EU standard contractual clauses for certain third-party transfers and rules for the engagement of additional service providers.

7. Dealer search and GeoNames
The JPD merchant search uses search criteria provided by the visitor, such as country, location or postcode, radius and merchant type, to display suitable merchants. For the location resolution, locally imported GeoNames data are used; no direct search requests to GeoNames are required for this. Technically-induced access protocols may be required as part of hosting.

8. Multilingualism with TranslatePress AI
We use TranslatePress and TranslatePress AI to provide content on our website in various languages. For automatic translation, website texts as well as necessary technical information regarding the translation request are submitted to TranslatePress. Already translated content is stored in our WordPress database and can be delivered from there. The provider of TranslatePress is Reflection Media SRL, Romania. Data processing in connection with translation serves the multilingual provision of our content (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We are not aware of any transmission of filled-in merchant requests to TranslatePress AI. As far as the translation service uses additional technical service providers, additional data processing may occur in connection with the translation.

9. Rights of the affected parties
Affected individuals have, under the legal requirements, the rights to information, rectification, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. As far as processing is based on consent, this can be revoked at any time with effect for the future. In addition, the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority exists. For inquiries, the contact details listed above apply.
