JPD Feed Advisor – this is how feeding works

Your JPD feed advisor

Determine an informal guide to the appropriate JPD food type and daily feeding requirement. Enter the number and length of your koi, as well as the current water temperature. Also take into account feeding goals, fish activity, and water quality.

Important for context
The fish weight derived from body length is only an estimate. Body shape, condition, and growth stage can vary significantly. A calculated feed amount is not a binding daily requirement.

At cool water temperatures, conspicuous behavior, insufficient oxygen supply, or problematic water values, a calculated recommendation should not be taken lightly. Especially with very cold water, a feeding break may be advisable. Always monitor your koi’s feeding activity and do not remove any food that has been ingested.

The calculation logic of the existing plugin is currently being professionally reviewed. The quantities shown are therefore preliminary guidelines, not an individually validated feeding instruction.
